Exercise 3

This exercise showes 3 different way to explore :

1) apply the techniques of Masking and Alpha Channel
2) the use of advanced filter effects
3) techniques of applying the text tools with effects

Below are the step that i used to do this tutorial :

Step 1) Drag money image to vaction image and arrange on the saving word.

Step2) by holding alt we make copy from money and put on the word (5copy) then we put this layer under the word to make masking .

Step3) here i put bluue color to my word

Step4) here between 2 layer i hold alt key then drag it to second layer that showes layer is under word ,i did for each money .

Making of the Post Card “Malaysia-Truly Asia” - Multi-cultural theme

Step one:

Selecting a Background Image and editing it to be into the required size.

Tools Used:Clone stamp tool: Duplicating the background sky and the building onto the right. Polygon lasso tool was used for selection.

Step two:

Importing source images,

Tools Used:Magic wand was used where there is singular color in the source images. Later as the layer is imported, blending options were used, outer glow, color overlay.
Where there is a specific selection in the source image, Polygon lasso tool was used the most.

Step Three:

adding the light effect, adding light on one of the source images(people (right-bottom) in the composition

Tools Used:

Dodge, Burn tools were the most used to tools using Highlights and with exposure 50.
The light effect
A new layer was added using the layer window.
Paint-bucket was used to drop slightly grayish white. The source(bottom) was highlighted a little, using dodge tool.
The opacity was reduced to 40% in the layer window.

Finalization:

The Layer with the people in it was copied (Alt+Lmouse) color overlay to black and later the opacity was reduced to 50%. A copy of that layer was made and motion blur was added in the direction of light. [ filter>blur>motion blur…]
The sizes of the text and Images had their final alteration to fit into the composition.

Project Objective: create a multi-cultural event for a post card to attract tourist to Malaysia.

Approach:
i find some picture as refrences to use them for my post card after i edit them .



step1: i cut girls from picture that i find it and edit some thing in her cloths color .
















step2: i put the picture from KLCC tower and menara tower behind the girls as background also to show the interesting place to tourist




step3:cut the text of MALAYSIA TRULY ASIA from the piicture that i find it and put it in my post card .

now i am going to start my tree ;) GOD HELP ME

Here is steps that i did to make my tree look like as reall ( i hope ) :

(1) I put image as template then I used pen tool to draw branch part .
(2) I draw some different leaves and small branch and drag it to symbol then used brusher .
(3)I made land very simple ,I used Rectangle tool then I drag the tree down as shadow with low
Transparency.
(4) at the end i put color ,this part is very important to me .
(5) Finally i add my symbol from assignment 1 at the bottom.

i was seraching for tree to do my assignment 2 .i show all the picture that i found to madam ling and she choice Japanese tree ,when i went to do it was difficult to me i tought it s better i change it to another tree like Palm :D i did every thing and in presaintation day when i presaint to madam ling she saied why u did this ,where is ur tree ... so she told me i have to do japanes tree :(

After that i start my work .At the begining i was worry about leaves of my tree it was so difficult to me :(
